Why we changed
No prescription, and none of the prostaglandin side effects.
Nu-Cil uses a peptide and botanical complex rather than a prostaglandin analog. That distinction matters to a lot of our patients: it is available without a prescription, and it avoids the two side effects that made people stop using prostaglandin lash serums — iris pigmentation change and darkening of the eyelid skin.
No prescription needed
A cosmetic serum, not a prescription drug. No office visit required just to obtain it.
No iris colour change
Prostaglandin lash serums carry a documented risk of permanent iris darkening in lighter eyes. Nu-Cil does not.
No eyelid darkening
Periorbital skin darkening and fat loss around the eye are prostaglandin effects. Not a concern here.

Nu-Cil Eyelash Enhancing Serum
Applied once daily along the upper lash line. Formulated to improve the appearance of lash length, fullness and density over a course of consistent use.
Nu-Cil Eyebrow Boosting Serum
For sparse or over-plucked brows. Applied to the brow area to improve the look of thickness and definition — especially useful for brows thinned by years of tweezing.
Nu-Cil Lash Duo Kit
Both serums together, for patients treating lashes and brows at the same time. Ask your provider whether the pair makes sense for you.
What to expect
Daily use, and patience.
Apply once daily to clean, dry skin along the lash or brow line. Results build gradually — plan on consistent daily use over several weeks before judging it. Like every lash serum, results depend on continued use; stop applying and lashes return to baseline over time.
If you have had eye surgery, an eye condition, or are pregnant or nursing, talk to your provider first.
We no longer carry Latisse.
Latisse worked, and it worked for many of our patients for years. But it is a prescription bimatoprost product with real ocular side effects. For most patients asking us about lash growth, Nu-Cil is now the better first recommendation.
