Skincare we carry
EltaMD sunscreen
The sunscreen we recommend more than any other. Florida gives us more sun than almost anywhere in the country, and daily broad-spectrum protection does more for your skin over a lifetime than anything else you can buy.
Why we carry it
Sunscreen you will actually wear.
The best sunscreen is the one you put on every morning without thinking about it. EltaMD makes seven different finishes, because the formula that works on an oily face at a desk is not the formula for a round of golf. We stock the range so you can be matched to one.
Broad spectrum, every SKU
UVA and UVB protection across the line, at SPF 40 and above.
A finish for each patient
Clear, tinted, matte, mist and stick, so texture and skin tone are never the reason it stays in the drawer.
Sensitive and treated skin
Several are zinc-based mineral formulas, which is what we want on skin that has just been lasered or peeled.
What we stock
Seven formulas.
Your provider will tell you which of these belong in your routine, and in what order.

UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46
The one we recommend most. A lightweight zinc formula with niacinamide, made for acne-prone, rosacea-prone and sensitive skin.

UV Daily Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 40
A tinted daily moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. It evens tone enough that many patients wear it instead of foundation.

UV Pure Broad Spectrum SPF 47
A 100% mineral formula, zinc and titanium only. Our usual answer for children and for the most reactive skin.

UV Sport Broad Spectrum SPF 50+
Water resistant for 80 minutes. The one for the boat, the course and the tennis court.

UV AOX Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 40
An antioxidant mist for reapplying over makeup, which is the step almost everyone skips.

UV Skin Recovery Broad Spectrum SPF 50
Formulated for compromised skin. This is what we hand patients after a resurfacing treatment.

UV Daily Peptide Lip Balm SPF 40
Lips are a real site for skin cancer and are almost always left unprotected. This fixes that.
Common questions
Questions we get asked about sunscreen.
Which EltaMD should I use?
It depends on your skin and how you spend your day. UV Clear for acne-prone or rosacea-prone skin, UV Pure for children and reactive skin, UV Sport for time on the water or the course. Ask any provider and we will match you to one.
Do I need sunscreen after a laser or a peel?
Yes, and it matters more then than at any other time. Treated skin burns and pigments easily. UV Skin Recovery is what we put on patients straight after a resurfacing treatment.
Is mineral better than chemical?
Neither is universally better. Mineral filters, zinc and titanium, sit on the surface and suit sensitive or treated skin. Chemical filters feel lighter under makeup. We stock both because patients differ.
How much am I supposed to use?
About a teaspoon for face and neck, reapplied every two hours outdoors. Most people apply less than half of what they need, which is the reason the mist exists.
How to buy
