Two things, really. The vertical bands on the front of the neck softened, and the jawline looks cleaner and more defined.
Here’s why. A wide muscle called the platysma runs down the front of the neck, and as it ages it starts to pull downward. That pull is what creates the bands, and it tugs the jawline down with it.
